I have about 15 minutes until my call, so thought I would throw out one more post.

Christmas this year (for us), has been more about spirit. Whenever I am out. I put a small drop in each red bucket and send out, a gift of Christmas love. When it starts getting into the shopping count down, people stress out. So I try to say Merry Christmas and give a smile, whenever I am out. I haven’t been able to gift at all this year, but I am trying to give of myself.

I will admit, that there have been some selfish thoughts about wishing for a Christmas movie ending for this holiday season. You know, that a family with nothing receives some sort of miracle event that happens and they get Christmas from friends and people they love. So maybe I’ve had one selfish thought.

Even though this ‘isn’t’ Jesus’ actual birthday. It IS a time when we all think of others more than ourselves. We give more kindness, we practice more charity to others, we pray more for those in need and give the gift of love for our fellow man. At least that is what it should be.

I’m going to be with my son. his lovely girl and her sweet kids. I enjoy all their company, and the house has much love in it. A very nurturing place to be for the holiday of giving.

We will always have the gift of giving from our hearts for each other, if there is nothing else. But I believe it is the best gift of all.
